My name is Lauren Grinnell and I am a hairstylist at Intermezzo Salon and Spa. The purpose of this letter is to build support for, “Runway to Freedom”, my charity fashion show for New Beginnings, a Seattle-based domestic violence support group. As a proactive opponent to all violence, I plan to create and instill confidence in women who have had it stripped away by abuse.
The event’s objective is to further awareness about domestic violence within our community and raise funds for New Beginnings to continue their work. All of the proceeds will go towards the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency New Beginnings, and will be registered as tax deductible with the state of Washington.
